Introducing...Taken by Cars...a project which has melted a meaningful creation with the experience of indie rhythms, colorful melodies, touches of glowing dance inspired beats, androgynous vocals, nostalgia-infused lyrics, and agressive flows between fast and slow harmonies. Working within streamlined song structures, the band focuses on a language which aims to speak with a sensation all its own. A drive for a new sound emerges as five members stand lovingly to produce a debut which combines the intelligence of postmodern rock as well as their own longstanding influences in blues, chill, dance-punk, and other genres...

Sleepwalk Circus


The name Sleepwalk Circus derived from their belief of moving forward and living this active life the best way it should be lived, with your eyes closed. This circus brews sounds that were sometimes dark, trippy, strangely happy, lucid, 'machinic', 'demagougeric', wishy washy, walkywalk, simple and fierce. The goal of the ringmaster is to bring people into their tented sleepy world so that they come out still connected to it.

Effinboiche

EFFINBOICHE (efin-boych) is a new breed of young bloods in the local rock music scene ready to let their talents shine out for all the music lovers out there.

It was summer of 2006 when EFFINBOICHE settled with Aljo Salting on bass, Marvin Palero on guitars, JC Gellidon on drums and Alex Fuentes on vocals and guitars. In between 2006 to 2007 they have quickly grown and have injected themselves in the scene in a short amount of time, they have been playing gigs alongside great bands such as Hilera, Join The Club, Kamikazee, Chicosci, Faspitch, Urbandub and many more. They played as far as south to north… with their drive to get their music across and it did not stop there.

EFFINBOICHE recently won the 2006 Nescafe Soundskool Intercollegiate band competition wining them a cash price of P150,000.00 and a distribution deal with EMI Phils. Managed by The Elephant Group, EFFINBOICHE plays at gigs all over the metro and some provinces and they will not stop until they are heard massively. EFFINBOICHE is currently a participant of PULP’s 2007 World Battle of the Bands and hopefully they can make it to the finals by October of this year and will represent the Philippines in New Zealand by November.

EFFINBOICHE is in the process of recording songs for their debut album soon to be out anytime this year, having influences from Bjork, Estrela, Paramore, Enya, Dredg, Tatu, Funeral For a Friend, Dream Theatre, A Perfect Circle and the likes. The diversity is evident in their musical background. EFFINBOICHE is open to making their music as broad as they possibly can having a mix of everything. Creating what they humbly call the “Effinboiche music”.
